KAPITAL is a 12-part miniseries that explores the economic and social turmoil in the United States during the early 1900s -- a period filled with amazing social progress, enormous wealth, outrageous greed, great economic inequality, inventive zeal, and radical ideals.
It was a time when "class warfare" wasn't just political hyperbole. It was very real -- with very real life and death consequences.
KAPITAL tells the true story of the Industrial Workers of the World -- "the Wobblies" -- the sensationally raucous and radical labor union that shook the American capitalist system to its very core -- just as other men with names like Rockefeller, Morgan, and Carnegie were shaping that same system with their own brand of fanatical fervor and grand designs.
Specifically, the miniseries tells the tale of William "Big Bill" Haywood, Elizabeth "Gurley" Flynn, and Joe Hill -- three passionate rebels in America's forgotten war between the Wobblies and the era's "Lords of Capital."
